Departmental Profile
About
The Department of Mathematics was founded in 2009 under the name University Department of Mathematics. It started with a Master’s programme offering postgraduate studies and a research programme for higher education. Mathematics plays a vital role in Science, Engineering, Health Sector, Information Technology, Social Science, and many other areas. This is clearly reflected in the fact that the department conducts all Mathematics courses offered in various university colleges for the Bachelor’s programme in Mathematics.
Aims & Objectives
To become a nationally recognized centre of excellence in teaching and research, producing excellent academicians, professionals, and innovators who can positively contribute to society.
